Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Makes Her Endorsement Before Monday Night Football

At least Patrick Mahomes’ mother didn’t have to change her shirt color to declare her allegiance to Donald Trump.

In a video shared by conservative outlet OutKick on X, formerly Twitter, Randi Mahomes stood in a luxury box Monday before her son’s game wearing a red Make America Great Again hat and red Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt.

“Make America great again, let’s do it, whoo!” she said, raising her arms.

The declaration before her son quarterbacked the Chiefs to a home victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers counters Taylor Swift’s political stance.

Swift rocked the world with her Kamala Harris endorsement over the summer and is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The “Anti-Hero” singer still appeared to be friendly with Mahomes’ wife Brittany after the latter reportedly “liked” a Trump social media post about his campaign platform. She then lashed out at people who made disparaging comments and got a thank-you from the Republican nominee for her support in early September.

As for the three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, he’s staying mum on the endorsement front.

“I’ve always said, I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” he said earlier in the season.

But other NFL athletes have not been as shy. San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa interrupted an NBC interview with teammate quarterback Brock Purdy to point to his MAGA hat recently.

“I’m not gonna talk too much about it,” Bosa said, “but I think it’s an important time.”
