Passengers Freak Out Over American Airlines Flight Flood
A new danger has hit airline passengers: getting soaked while 30,000 feet in the air.
After months of bizarre plane mishaps, including emergency doors falling off, unexpected stowaways, and even diversions because of pigs, an American Airlines flight had a watery fiasco on Dec. 7.
A viral video shows liquid creeping down the aisle of the plane while concerned passengers rush to escape the flood.
A passenger, Hilary Stewart Blazevic, shared the video on Storyful, saying a woman had discovered the leak while in the rear bathroom and altered the cabin crew.
“It was utter disbelief and a little panic realizing they can’t shut off the water,” she said.
Blazevic added that passengers lifted their feet and grabbed their bags from the ground to avoid the “disgusting” water.
Social media users weighed in on the flight, which was from Dallas to Minneapolis.
“New final destination fear unlocked,” one user wrote.
“Imagine drowning… on a plane… in air,” another user said.
“Man, those 4-D movies are on a whole new level,” a viewer wrote.
Other users also expressed concern about the cleanliness of the water, as the leak had originated from the bathroom.
“Nothing says emergency like toilet water,” one commenter wrote.
