Passenger Narrowly Avoids Being Pulled Under Train at Indian Station

A passenger was rescued from being dragged under a train by an official at Purnea Junction in Bihar, India, dramatic CCTV footage shows.

Footage from the Indian Ministry of Railways shows a passenger attempting to board a moving train at the station. The passenger can be seen stumbling before being dragged alongside and under the train.

The Ministry of Railways said that a jawan, an Indian term for a police officer or soldier, sprung into action to rescue the passenger. The footage shows a person running across the platform to drag the stuck passenger away from the train.
