Passenger Killed By Metal Object That Hit Windshield on N.J. Turnpike

In a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron with the New Jersey State Police’s Office of Public Information identified the victim as 39-year-old Steven Bradshaw of Audubon, N.J.

A metal object first struck the front hood and windshield of the Toyota Bradshaw was a passenger in. It then struck Bradshaw, who sustained fatal injuries, according to police.
The incident happened on March 7.

New Jersey State Troopers responded to the motor vehicle accident at approximately 1:22 p.m. local time on the New Jersey Turnpike north near milepost 67 in East Windsor Twp., Mercer County.
No other injuries were reported, and the accident remains under investigation. It is not immediately known what the object was that struck and killed Bradshaw.
According to Lebron, there is no additional information available at this time.
