Parts of southern Turkey flooded after heavy rains

STORY: Video shared on social media on Wednesday (March 15) from the southeastern city of Sanliurfa, known as Urfa, showed floodwater turning an underpass into a river with vehicles being stranded in the mud nearby.

Local media reported four deaths and two firefighters missing in Sanliurfa province.

Container homes set up to house many of the families left homeless from the Feb. 6 quake were struck by the floods, with one being swept away according to Tokat governor Numan Hatipoglu. One person was killed and four were missing, reports said.
