Parrott rips up calendar to form paper 'feathers' for its tail

A parrot ripped up a calendar to make fake paper feathers for its tail in central China. The funny video, filmed in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province on March 10, shows a parrot using its mouth to tear a paper calendar into strips and then inserting them amongst its feathers on its tail. According to the bird's owner Mr Huang, the parrot was in its breeding season and had four eggs already. It tore down the paper strips and inserted them into its tail as it wanted to build a nest for itself. The video was provided by local media with permission.
