Meanwhile, others reportedly compared Park’s situation to other high-profile celebrities with brief appearances in certain movies, such as Bill Murray in “Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania” and Russell Crowe in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
What Park is saying: Responding to the complaints, Park said his role was still important for the film's narrative.
“I think Aladna and Prince Yan are the place and the figure that is important for showing the growth of Carol Danvers,” he said, according to SBS Star. “Some might think my part in the movie is too short, but I believe it plays a crucial part in the overall narrative of 'The Marvels.’”
About "The Marvels": Directed by Nia DaCosta, “The Marvels” serves as Park’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film also stars Pakistani Canadian actor Iman Vellani as the young Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.
Park is the third Korean to ever appear in the MCU as a whole, joining the ranks of Claudia Kim as Helen Cho in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and Ma Dong-seok as Gilgamesh in “The Eternals.”
