As Christmas nears, France has seen daily COVID infections rise once again, sparking fears of a new lockdown.
The country counted 3,241 new cases and 70 deaths over the previous 24 hours on Monday, according to the French Health ministry website.
No new lockdown is yet being considered by authorities, government spokesman Gabriel Attal told France Inter radio on Tuesday (November 16).
