Paris hosts second stop of 2022 Cliff Diving World Series

STORY: In the men’s competition, Preda posted the highest-ever total event score as he saw off nine-time champion Gary Hunt of France with the day’s final dive.

It was Preda’s second World Series victory following a similar triumph over Hunt in Saint-Raphael in the 2021 season opener.

On the women’s side, having missed out on victory in the season-opener, five-time champion Iffland found her form again to get the better of her Canadian rival Molly Carlson, who won the first event in Boston two weeks ago.

Iffland and Carlson sit joint-top of the overall standing with 360 points.

The third stop of eight in the season heads to Copenhagen on July 16.
