Paris Hilton is no stranger to the spotlight—in fact, she was born into it. The heiress of the Hilton hotel dominion has cemented herself as a pop culture icon, as a socialite, model, singer, actress, businesswoman, and DJ. Such level of celebrity means onlookers have been curious about all facets of Hilton's life ever since she could walk. As she has grown older, many fans have prodded into her love life. And, they'll be pleased to know the media personality is happily married to her prince charming, Carter Reum. The adorable pair had known each other for 15 years before things turned romantic. In 2016, Reum and his brother, Courtney Reum, co-founded M13, "an early-stage venture firm investing in visionary founders building disruptive software businesses," according to the company's Linkedin page. The company's clients include Classpass, Headspace, Kevita, Lyft, Pinterest, Ring, and Shake Shack, among many others. The brothers also co-founded the alcohol brand Veev Spirits in 2007, though, according to Cision PR Newswire, they sold majority stake in the company in 2016.
The two appeared to be following in their father W. Robert's footsteps. The late patriarch was the former president and CEO of Amsted Industries, which was valued at $3.4 billion in 2022 by Forbes.
Previously, Carter Reum worked in investment banking for Goldman Sachs from 2004-2006, with clients including Under Armour and Vitamin Water.
He wrote a book.
Reum and his brother co-authored the book Shortcut Your Startup: Ten Ways to Speed Up Entrepreneurial Success, in which they guide readers on how to reach business success. They have each also contributed to Inc. magazine articles.
He has a daughter from a previous relationship.
Reum shares a daughter with former reality TV star Laura Bellizzi. One of his reps confirmed the news in a Page Six report in November 2021, just days after he exchanged vows with Hilton. According to legal records filed in 2020, Reum never took a paternity test but signed a document acknowledging he is the father.
"The people who this story matters to have known about it for 10 years," the rep said. "Carter supports this child. While he does not have a traditional father-daughter relationship with her, he has provided for her since she was born and will continue to do so."

They've known each other for a long time.
The heiress told People in 2020 that she has known Reum for 15 years. They first coupled up after she attended his sister Halle Hammond's Thanksgiving festivities.
"We just had this incredible chemistry," Hilton said. "We had our first date and haven't spent a night apart since. It's pretty amazing."
They got married in 2021.
The couple tied the knot during a three-day celebration at a private estate in Los Angeles on November 11, 2021.

The heiress wore two Oscar de la Renta gowns for the occasion, one being a high-neck floral lace number and the other being a semi-sheer, off-the-shoulder piece. The festivities included performances by Demi Lovato and Kim Petras and a Neon Carnival afterparty at the Santa Monica Pier.

Hilton and Reum brought their nuptials to the big screen in the two-episode finale of the 2021 Peacock docuseries Paris in Love. She opened up about her big day and married life to People in January 2022.
"I loved the moment during my wedding ceremony when I decided to go off from what I wrote in my vows and just spoke truly from the heart. It was such a pure moment," she gushed.
She added: "I love being a wife. We've been so close and inseparable the past two years together, so it's always felt like we're married...I'm so excited for this next chapter in our life and to start a family together. [He's] my best friend, so it feels so safe getting to grow together."
They welcomed their first child in January 2023.
Hilton and Reum officially became parents on January 16, 2023, when they welcomed their first child, a son named Phoenix Barron, via surrogate.
"It's always been my dream to be a mother, and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," Hilton told People. "We are so excited to start our family together, and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."
Hilton shared she began IVF treatments with her man before they were married and praised him for being "so supportive." During a September 2020 episode of the LadyGang podcast, she shared she was hoping to conceive twins and that Kim Kardashian introduced her to an IVF doctor.
They welcomed a second child in November 2023.
The DJ announced the arrival of her second child, a girl named London, on November 23, 2023, with an Instagram post.
