Paramount+ Announces Price Hikes — Here’s How Much It’ll Cost You to Stream Without Ads

Paramount+ is about to cost you even more.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 20, Paramount is raising the price of the ad-free Paramount+ With Showtime plan by $1, to $12.99/month, TVLine has confirmed. Existing Paramount+ With Showtime subscribers will see the new price go into effect with their next billing date, on or after Sept. 20.

Also as of Aug. 20, new subscribers to the Paramount+ Essential plan (with ads) will pay $7.99/month, which amounts to a $2 increase. Existing monthly subscribers will continue to pay $5.99/month.

Additionally, existing subscribers with the legacy Paramount+ Limited Commercial plan will see their rates increase by $1, to $7.99/month.

Pricing on Paramount+’s annual subscription plans — Paramount+ With Showtime ($119.99/year) and Paramount+ Essential ($59.99/year) — will remain unchanged.

Paramount+’s price hikes follow similar, recently announced rate increases at Max (which saw its ad-free plan go from $15.99 to $16.99/month) and Peacock (which will soon see its ad-free plan go from $11.99 to $13.99/month).
