Pan Yueming and Dong Jie sparked reconciliation rumour
7 Feb – Netizens are suspecting that Pan Yueming and Dong Jie may be reconciling, a decade after their separation.
As reported on Sohu, eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that Pan, who had never posted his son's photo to wish him a happy birthday in the past, recently not only posted a video of Dingding, but also tagged Dong Jie and telling her how handsome their son is.
Meanwhile, Dong reposted the video, and responded, "He will definitely get better and better" - something she had never done in the past decade.
Netizens also noted that they can hear the sound of a woman's laughter in the video, sparking speculations that the three of them celebrated Lunar New Year together.
Meanwhile, others noted that Dong Jie previously posted a photo of a man next to son Dingding as they watched a show of fireworks, captioning it, "Farewell to the sound of firecrackers, and usher in the romance of flowers blooming."
It further fuelled rumours that the two are soon to reunite in marriage.
The former couple started dating after working together in the 2005 drama, "Hong Yi Fang", and announced their relationship and marriage in 2008. However, in 2012, the couple announced that they were getting a divorce, with Dong's camp accusing Pan of being abusive and addicted to gambling.
