She still doesn't want to "play the game".

It's official — Pamela Anderson is the patron saint of pairing haute couture with a makeup-free face.

The former Baywatch star, who went viral after appearing at Paris Fashion Week with no makeup in 2023, arrived at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar after-party with what has become her signature look — stunning couture and a fresh, makeup-less complexion. At last night's event, which she attended with her son, Brandon, the actress opted for a spacious floral dress and soft, natural waves to complement her chic no-makeup look. The final effect? Soft '70s glam, and we are so here for it.

After Anderson unexpectedly shed her Baywatch aesthetic and appeared with no makeup last October, she's been embracing the look. At the time she said to People, “I'm makeup-free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week? I really didn't know anyone would notice it, but I'm glad it became a positive message.”

She went on,  “I'm not opposed to it. I just don't want to play the game. And it felt good to look in the mirror and say, 'I'm OK just like this.'”

Since then, she's rocked the look at the 2023 Fashion Awards with a low ponytail and a white pantsuit for a Proenza shoot.

Earlier this year, the actress spoke to Allure about transitioning to a makeup-free life. “I didn’t think anyone was going to notice," she said. "I just thought, 'I’m not competing with all these beautiful people.'"

She added, At fashion week, I did that for myself. It wasn’t to make a political statement. I just wanted to have my little weird face sticking out of the top of those great clothes … why am I playing the game?”

Anderson then explained that she felt much more at home in her own skin. "I feel much more sensual in my own skin [...] it’s much more intimate and vulnerable [...] kind of like this is how your boyfriend sees you, without makeup. It’s almost sexier, I think," she said.

Of course, whether you like a full-face of makeup or, like Anderson, prefer a minimalist chic beauty look, there is no wrong way to present your face to the world. But Anderson's latest outing proves that even a makeup-free look can be a little glam in its own way.
