Pakho Chau wins two accolades at Metro Radio Hit Awards

30 Dec – 2019 seems to be a great year for Pakho Chau. After welcoming his first baby and gaining more popularity through TVB's "Wonder Women", the singer recently became one of the big winners at the 2019 Metro Radio Hit Awards.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the online broadcast of the event, won two accolades – Hit Male Singer and Hit Song – for his aforementioned series' theme song, "Let Love Fly High".

Speaking to the media about the awards, Pakho stated that he didn't actually work too much this year, but was lucky that the said song became popular because of the series.

"It was like a surprise gift. A lot of my fans said that I finally have my own representative work. To have a great song, series character, and drama is really better than to win all the awards, though winning is also important as it like repaying fans' support. I am happy and satisfied," he said.

As to what he thought of the absence of a live event this year, Pakho said that times are changing and that everybody should get with it.

When mentioned that he seemed to gain a great fortune in the second half of the year, what with the birth of his baby and the popularity of his TVB series, Pakho said that it could be described as a grand slam.
