If you've been on social media (especially TikTok) even a little recently, you've probably seen an ad for Pair Eyewear. While other glasses-by-mail companies compete largely on price, Pair is all about flair: You can instantly change the look of your glasses by snapping on a magnetic "top."

Cool, right? Instead of having to buy completely different glasses to match moods, outfits and occasions, you simply pop on a suitable top.

For example, maybe you stick with a basic-black frame to wear at the office, but then add a confetti-colored top for a night out. Or a snowman-themed one for a holiday party. You could even have a different look for each day of the week.

With prices starting at $60 per frame, prescription lenses included, Pair is already pretty affordable. However, for a limited time, Yahoo Life readers can save 15 percent on any Pair Eyewear order by applying promo code YAHOO15 at checkout.

If you've never ordered glasses online before, you'll want to be sure to have an updated prescription close at hand, complete with pupillary distance (PD) measurements. You should also measure your current frames to make sure the new ones are a similar size.

Pair offers only about 10 frame styles each for men and women, with five available for kids. But you can choose from dozens of top options, everything from solid colors to holiday themes to "sun tops" (which effectively turn your glasses into sunglasses — regular tops are just frames with nothing inside). There are Harry Potter, Marvel, NHL and other branded options as well.

I ordered a pair of, er, Pair glasses with black frames and a navy-blue top, because I'm boring. My only regret is that I didn't choose something fun like The Retro Batman. But the glasses themselves (which took around 10 days to arrive — your mileage may vary) are great; they're lightweight and comfortable, and Pair nailed my fairly complicated progressive-lens prescription.

Because the tops have magnets only at the corners, there's a slight gap in the center between the top and the frame — but it's not noticeable to you as the wearer and barely noticeable to onlookers.

My only real complaint here is with top pricing: They're $25 to $30 each, with no discounts for multiples. That feels exorbitant; they're just lightweight pieces of plastic, after all. They should be $10 apiece, maybe three for $20.

Still, there's no denying the appeal of glasses that can change colors and styles in an instant. And if you use the YAHOO15 code, you can get tops for closer to $21 — a little more palatable.
