It was an exciting Malaysia Day weekend as S P Setia celebrated the spirit of unity with its #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2022 which saw a fantastic turnup of more than 2,000 participants at Setia Bayuemas Lake Park in Klang on the morning of 18 September.

The event consisted of a 5km fun run and a 21.1km half marathon for running enthusiasts and veterans alike.

“I feel very energized, and it was a great unity event for Setia citizens and everyone. The running event was a good start to open up gatherings and activities again after COVID-19 pandemic,” said Dato’ Merina binti Abu Tahir, Independent Non-Executive Director of S P Setia.

“We are very proud of the participation and the turnout despite weather conditions. It was great to see that everyone enjoyed themselves. We’re very happy and looking forward to bringing the same crowd next year to our other developments,” said Lindayani Tajudin, Chief Strategy Officer of S P Setia.

Apart from the fun run and half marathon, the event was also filled with fun activities for all including aerobic zumba, face painting, roller blading and Insta-cubes to capture Instagrammable moments.

Jointly organised with JomRun, #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2022 was supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports along with Celsius, Dadi Cinema, Neutrovis and Ultron. A total of RM5,000 cash prize was awarded to the men and women open and veteran second and first runner-ups and champions of the half marathon.
