Ozzy Osbourne doesn't want 'anyone like Johnny Depp' to play him in biopic
Ozzy Osbourne has said he doesn't want to have "anyone like Johnny Depp" playing him in a biopic.
The Black Sabbath rocker is to be the subject of an upcoming biopic that his wife Sharon previously said would be a "story about a survivor".
It has been in the pipeline for some time but so far it hasn't been announced who is in the running to play Ozzy, who revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease..

And the 73-year-old has now revealed he doesn't want it to be a big Hollywood A-lister.
He told Consequence: "I don’t want to have anyone like Johnny Depp act as me.
"I rather have someone who is relatively unknown."
The film will apparently look at Ozzy's life and also his relationship with Sharon, who he shares three children with.
In 2020, Sharon said the biopic would be “an adult movie for adults” that wouldn't gloss over the singer’s past rock 'n roll lifestyle.
She also said that the biopic would be “more real” than previous high-profile music biopics.
She told Rolling Stone at the time: “We don’t want it to be squeaky, shiny clean and all of that.
“We’re not making it for kids. It’s an adult movie for adults.”
