Over/Under Week 7 - Matthew Stafford

Will the LAR QB go over/under 3.5 passing TDs in week 7?

Video transcript

- Yeah. First one we're going to do here is on the big fat revenge fest coming up today. I mean, Matthew Stafford, does he really need to get revenge on the lines? They gracefully allowed him to leave and go to a much better situation. Maybe Jared Goff needs some revenge but I don't see him getting it.

So let's talk Stafford here. Let's set the line at 3 and a 1/2 passing touchdowns. And I hate to do this. I hate to be a bummer here, but it's a bummer of a week with all of these buys so why not keep the energy bad here. I'm going to go under here because 4 passing touchdowns is an awful lot.

And again, does Matthew Stafford really need to give it to the Lions that hard? They allowed him to leave after all those bad years. You know, maybe he can just keep it at three. I think that's pretty modest. Also, I didn't really appreciate the unfairness shown to me at the beginning of the show, when everyone else got to talk about their-- like draft victories.

I was going to talk about Darrell Henderson. I have to talk about Brandon Aiyuk. What's up with that? I was going to talk Darrell Henderson, and like, he's the thing here, he's really good. I drafted a lot of him. He could score two touchdowns against the Lions bad run defense.

No one would be surprised about that. So maybe some touchdown sharing in the equity department is in order here. Henderson gets more, Stafford just gets three. But what about you, Andy? What do you say here?

- Well, I'll grant you the point about Stafford, not really, you know. Like, you shouldn't be that angry. Had some good years in Detroit obviously, and they give him a fairly soft landing by-- by sending him to the Rams. He's obviously a ripe situation, but it's that ripe situation that has me so excited about him.

He's already done this twice already this year. His receivers are absolutely unfair. And then you look at the Detroit defense. They're allowing 9.8 yards per attempt on the season. That is the most in the league, it is terrible. I think he gets to 4 before they have to put the brakes on. I'm going to take the over.

- All right, Tanker. You're going to make me feel like an absolute loser for picking the under on this very exciting line here.

- Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. I'm going over. I mean, y'all say that he doesn't really have anything against Detroit. This wasn't even my talking point, but like, what the Detroit give him besides Calvin Johnson? I'll wait.

[LAUGHTER]

[INTERPOSING VOICES]

Yeah. Exactly. And he was like all beat up and banged up. What? Who?

- That a group.

[LAUGHTER]

- Buddy?

- And like, I'm telling, man, like he's gone over this number twice already this year. And like I don't even want to get in the stats. I'm going to just put it like this. Like, when you got a new girl, and you're old girl coming into the club that night.

What are you going to do? Are you have a go to the club looking like a bum? Are you going to put those little red pumps on to clean up your car, and slide up on that thing, looking hot and nice? We all know the answer-- over.

- All right. Well, there you go. Look at me, I'm the big loser that picks the under here. What a tough scene for me. These guys are probably right. I'm probably wrong. We'll have more Over, Under coming up later in the show. But for now, let's send it over to Liz.
