Over 600,000 Vaccine Doses Arrive in Sao Paulo as Brazil Ramps Up Vaccinations

Over 600,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine arrived at Viracopos International Airport in Campinas, Sao Paulo, on Wednesday, May 26, ahead of another 12 million doses expected in the coming month.

Health minister Marcelo Queiroga expected Brazil to break its vaccine distribution record in May by administering more than 30 million doses, according to the Ministry of Health.
