‘Outlander’ Season 7 Part 2 First-Look Photos & Sneak Peek Of Starz Prequel Series ‘Blood Of My Blood’

Droughtlander is nearing its end at last!

Outlander‘s Season 7 Part 2 is set to premiere on Starz on November 22 with new episodes available weekly on Fridays at midnight ET via the official network app and on-demand. Via linear, new episodes will be released at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S.

In anticipation of the new episodes, six new photos revealing Claire (Caitríona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan) and the gang return to Scotland for the first time since Season 3. The images can be found below.

Picking up after the first half of Outlander Season 7, viewers find Claire, Jamie and Young Ian (John Bell) leaving the colonies and arriving in their beloved homeland: Scotland. The perils of the Revolutionary War force them to choose between standing by those they love and fighting for the land they have made their new home. Meanwhile, Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) face new enemies across time and must battle the forces that threaten to pull their family apart. As loyalties change and painful secrets come to light, Jamie and Claire’s marriage is tested like never before. With their love binding them over oceans and centuries, can the MacKenzies and Frasers find their way back to each other?

Alongside Balfe, Heughan, Skelton, Rankin and Bell, the cast also includes David Berry as “Lord John Grey,” Charles Vandervaart as “William Ransom,” Izzy Meikle-Small as “Rachel Hunter” and Joey Phillips as “Denzell Hunter.”

In addition to the eight remaining episodes in Season 7, Outlander is currently in production on a 10-episode eighth and final season. The Outlander TV series is inspired by Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books of the same name.

On the prequel front, Starz is sharing an early sneak peek of Claire’s and Jamie’s parents in the early 18th-century Scottish Highlands. The 10-episode first season of Outlander: Blood of My Blood is currently in production in Scotland and will air in 2025.

The series will explore the lives and relationships of Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy). It will center on these two parallel love stories set in two different time periods.

Matthew B Roberts serves as showrunner and executive producer on both series with Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis and Jim Kohlberg serving as executive producers on both as well. Moore and Davis developed Outlander for TV, under their production banner Tall Ship Productions. Toni Graphia, Luke Schelhaas, Andy Harries, Caitríona Balfe and Sam Heughan also EP on Outlander which is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Left Bank Pictures, Story Mining & Supply Company and Sony Pictures Television.
