The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus is our favorite portable power station and it's at an all-time low price for Prime Day

It's October Prime Day, and there are already plenty of banger deals popping up. One of the best we've seen so far is a new record-low price on the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus portable power station, which is currently a full $900 off its usual price, dropping it to $1,299. We listed the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus as our top pick among the best portable power stations, making this an amazing buy at 35% off its usual price of $1,999.

The Explorer 2000 Plus looks more like a cooler you'd roll out at a barbecue than a powerful way to power your gadgets, but its unassuming looks hide a large battery and powerful inverter. The unit can put out a full 3,000 watts, which is very high for the category, and it has a 2,042Wh capacity.

This is a record-low price on our favorite power station.

The only not-so-portable aspect of this power station is its weight: it's a hefty 61 pounds. However, that's worth the tradeoff in output and capacity, plus you get four standard AC outlets, four USB ports, a DC port, and a 25-amp circular AC outlet for use with RVs and appliances.

The Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus supports the company's SolarSaga 200 solar panels, so you can add some extra juice while you're out on a camping trip. It's also super-expandable, allowing you to add up to five external batteries to bring its total capacity to 12,000Wh. You can also combine it with a second Explorer 2000 Plus for a combined output of 6,000 watts.

There's no doubt that this is still an expensive purchase, even with the Prime Day sale. However, if you've been holding out on a good deal for a powerful portable power station, you honestly won't find a better one than this. It's the lowest price ever on this unit, with previous lows only bringing it to around $1,650.
