Orphaned Moon Bear Siblings Rescued in Laos

A pair of orphaned moon bear siblings became the first rescues of the year for Free the Bears after being brought to the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre in Luang Prabang, Laos.

The brother and sister pair, which were being kept as illegal exotic pets in Laos, were rescued with the help of the Laos government.

According to Danielle Henry, board member of Free the Bears, the cubs have started exploring the nursery play area and will now be given all the care and nutrition they need to thrive.
