Orphan Black: Echoes Cancelled at AMC
Bad news, Clone Club: Orphan Black: Echoes will not be printing out another season. The AMC/BBC America offshoot has officially been cancelled after just one season, TVLine has confirmed. (Our sister site Deadline first reported the news.)
The Orphan Black spinoff was set in the near future and took place in the same universe as the original. Echoes “takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence,” according to its official description, as it “follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unravelling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal. Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) plays Lucy, a woman with an unimaginable origin story, trying to find her place in the world.”
