Oreo Has Partnered With Lady Gaga to Create Bright Pink and Green Cookies
Surprise! Lady Gaga has partnered with Nabisco to create Little Monster-worthy Oreo cookies. Her feel-good dance album Chromatica was released earlier this year, and is the inspiration behind the new treat. The collaboration aims to spread music messages of kindness (and provide a fun cookie!) around the country.
You know that a Lady Gaga-themed Oreo has to be bright and fun, like her style, so the new cookies consist of pink-colored Golden Oreo cookies with green-colored creme. The flavor might not be unique, but the embossments certainly are. The cookies are covered in three Chromatica-inspired designs, including the album name, heart, and Lady Gaga herself.
It’s not just the cookies that got a colorful makeover, so did the packaging. You won’t be able to miss the bright pink bag with “Lady Gaga” front and center. Honestly, that’s reason enough to snag one.
The good news is that you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on the pink and green cookies. They’ll be available in six-count packs at convenience stores starting in January 2021 while supplies last. The official release date for the full-size pack is still under wraps, but we know that it’ll be a limited-edition offering once they do hit shelves.
If the thought of waiting until the New Year seems like an impossible task, you can sign up for the Lady Gaga x Oreo Stan Club in December. You’ll be notified when the cookies officially drop, and the first 1,000 subscribers will be among the first to receive a complimentary pack when it becomes available.
As if the cookies weren’t enough, Oreo and Lady Gaga are launching Sing It With Oreo, a program that will let you send uplifting customized musical OREOgrams to loved ones. Plus, it’ll give you the chance to win Lady Gaga swag and experience — including a grand-prize flyaway concert and meet-and-greet experience! The Oreograms will be available from Dec. 2, 2020 through Apr. 30, 2021.
