An OnlyFans model stabbed her boyfriend to death just hours after he broke up with her, a court has heard.

Abigail White, 24, killed Bradley Lewis, 22, at home on 25 March after he ended their relationship.

White, from Chipperfield Drive, Kingswood, Gloucestershire, denies murder but admits manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.

Earlier that day, Lewis had met White and her friend in a park and told her: "I don't want to be with you any more, Abi."

Lewis was taken to hospital after the stabbing but died the following day from a single stab wound to the chest which had penetrated his heart, Bristol Crown Court heard on Monday.

White called 999 and ran into the garden screaming when she could not get through, the court was told.

A neighbour, Laura Cundy, heard the screams and also called the emergency services and went to see what was happening.

Prosecutor Anna Vigars KC said Ms Cundy saw a bloodied Lewis on his back while a seven-inch knife lay on top of the radiator cover in the hallway.

The court heard that White refused to answer questions in an interview with police and instead read a prepared statement and told them: "I did not kill Bradley."

In the statement, White claimed Lewis picked up the knife during the row and she believed he intended to stab himself.

She claimed she grappled the knife from him and was trying to throw it out of the door when he grabbed her hands and plunged the blade into his own chest.

But the prosecution said this was a lie, and that by pleading guilty to manslaughter at an earlier hearing, White accepts responsibility for stabbing Lewis.

Vigars said: "Three months after his death, she accepted she stabbed him.

"The prosecution say that when she stabbed him, she did so intending either to hurt him seriously or to kill him, that this was no accident.

"And that, even if she regretted it almost as soon as she'd done it - as no doubt she did - at the time that she stabbed a knife into the middle of his chest, she intended to cause, at the very least, a serious injury to him."

The court heard the couple had been drinking in the Horseshoe pub in Kingswood on the night of the attack.

White was "angry" that Lewis had arrived half an hour later than her, even though he had been looking after his child.

White "went for Bradley" and threw a drink in his face, the court heard.

They left the pub at about 7.50pm, but by 8.10pm White was on the phone to the emergency services.

The court also heard that White had stabbed Mr Lewis in the arm a week before his death and told him it was to "beat the truth out of him".

Vigars said: "She knew the effect of a stab wound having only recently inflicted one.

"That earlier stabbing was something which she had mentioned in voice notes which she had recorded.

"Police found voice messages in which White voiced her anger and sense of betrayal over Mr Lewis's unfaithfulness, or presumed unfaithfulness, to her.

"She explained how she had had enough of being lied to and that she had to beat the truth out of him, even if it meant threatening him with a knife."

The trial continues on Tuesday.
