A One Tree Hill reunion just happened with Chad Michael Murray, Hilarie Burton and James Lafferty

Can you believe it's been almost two decades since iconic TV show One Tree Hill first aired and brought us endless drama featuring Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray), Nathan Scott (James Lafferty), Peyton Sawyer (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush)? And that it's been almost eight years since the show ended?

Since the series was cancelled in 2012, some of the stars of the hit show usually get back together for an annual One Tree Hill convention where it was filmed, but the latest epic reunion featured some of the show's biggest stars.

On Saturday, Hilarie Burton shared a collection of pictures of all the cast together, including a shot of her sandwiched between Chad and James.

Writing to fans, she said: "I got a job when I was 20-years-old that gave me some of the most important relationships and experiences of my life. I didn't take nearly enough pictures this weekend and didn't get photo evidence of everyone, but I love @raenia23 at @fwbcharityevents for bringing us all together. Thick and thin, our shared history has been a cornerstone in my life. Love you guys."

As well as the key cast members, Lee Norris (Marvin 'Mouth' McFadden), Antwon Tanner (Antwon 'Skills' Taylor), Jana Kramer (Alex Dupre) and Brett Claywell (Tim Smith) were also at the convention.

While Sophia Bush - who was previously married to Chad - wasn't present at this reunion, she was spotted alongside former co-stars Bryan Greenberg (Jake Jagielski) and Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina) at a 2020 Golden Globes after-party last month, where the trio got into character with Tree Hill High props.
