Christmas in the Kardashian-West household was never going to be a quiet one, was it? In spite of the pandemic, and although their annual large-scale Christmas Eve bash was called off, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie and co. were still able to meet at Kourtney's house to exchange gifts before the big day (and show off some, err, divisive outfits).
Now, Kim has shed a little light on some of the presents her four children, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Pslam, 1, received over the festive period. Posting on her Instagram Stories on Boxing Day, Kim shared several videos of herself and North rollerblading – and it looks as though North received some especially snazzy gold skates and was having a fab time whizzing around on them. So far, so good. Right? Well...
Kim then followed her social media update with another post about a gift that didn't go down quite as well... an art set. Alongside a snap of some very creative drawings on what appears to be grey stone, she wrote: "Thanks to whichever sister gave my kids this art set for Christmas! So appreciate your generosity. My stone bathtub really is grateful". OMG! Sorry, Kim, you mean you don't want a scribbled cat decorating your incredibly expensive tub? No? Fair.
According to Architectural Digest, the couple's mansion home is worth a cool $60 million, so we can only imagine how much Kimye spent on renovating their bathroom alone. Gulp. But maybe they'll grow to love the drawings from one of their kids, and think of it as a form of modern art? Just trying to find a silver lining here.
This isn't the first time the bathroom has had a bit of a makeover either – earlier this year, rapper Kanye (who made a bid to become President of the United States) transformed the space into an enchanted forest in an effort to surprise his wife. The entire space was overrun with flowers and trees, which Kim said she found "so sweet".
Posting on social media to her 196 million followers, the SKIMS mogul said of the surprise, "So I come home, and my whole bathroom is decorated like an enchanted forest. It’s so beautiful, and so visually pretty and so sweet of my husband."
We wonder which of the four children is responsible for the bathtub graffiti? Guesses on the back of a postcard please, folks.
