Olivia Wilde Is Feeling 'All' the Birthday Love as She Turns 40
"Thank you so much for the birthday love you sent my way yesterday," Olivia Wilde wrote to her Instagram followers one day after celebrating her 40th birthday

The filmmaker and actress celebrated her 40th birthday on Sunday. The next morning, Wilde shared a photo of herself with a grin on her face and her eyes closed to Instagram to mark the milestone birthday.
"This sums up how I feel about 40. Thank you so much for the birthday love you sent my way yesterday," Wilde wrote in the caption to her post. "I felt it / feel it all. 🪩♥️🪩"
Lisa Rinna was among those who chimed in within the comments of Wilde's post to wish her well. "40 is fabulous on you!🔥," Rinna, 60, wrote in a comment.
Wilde shared two additional photos to her Instagram Story as she marked her birthday Monday. In one photo, she can be seen posing for a mirror selfie in an elevator with her friend and actress Megalyn Echikunwoke, while another picture shows her posing with Echikunwoke and Issa Rae.

"Barbie President for actual President please," Wilde wrote over that photo, referencing Rae's role in 2023's Barbie movie as the president of BarbieLand.

Wilde recently appeared at Saint Laurent's fall/winter Paris Fashion Week show in France in February alongside Zoë Kravitz, Lila Moss, Georgia May Jagger and Elsa Hosk, among others. Days later, she shared a photo of herself riding a snowmobile in Finland to Instagram, seemingly taken on the same European trip. Back in January, Wilde was seen attending the premiere of her friend Kate Berlant's one-woman show Kate at the Pasadena Playhouse.

2022 saw Wilde release Don't Worry Darling, her second effort as a director after 2019's comedy Booksmart. Wilde also appeared in Don't Worry Darling as an actor. Since then, she appeared alongside Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in 2022's Babylon and costarred with Chris Pine in a fictional podcast series titled Ad Lucem.
Wilde has several upcoming movie projects as a director in the works, including a film about gymnast Kerri Strug's experience at the 1996 Olympics and a holiday movie titled Naughty, per her IMDb page. As recently as December 2022, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Wilde was attached to direct a Marvel superhero movie for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
