Danish skincare brand Ole Henriksen has landed on our shores and bringing their Truth, Transform, Transform Plus and Balance collections along with them.

Founded In 1975, the line reflects Ole's Scandinavian sensibilities of health and happiness as the path to brilliant skin. Ole Henriksen’s skincare journey began with his own struggle with cystic acne. After learning firsthand what works (and what doesn’t), he brought his expertise and signature Ole Glow to Hollywood, where he opened his own spa. Now, with more than 30 years of experience and the founder of a global bestselling brand, he’s seen and understands what truly works.

All Ole Henriksen’s products feature elevated, colourful and modern packaging, inspired by Ole’s Scandinavian heritage. Ole Henriksen’s Skincare is organised into clear and distinct product franchises that can be mixed and matched for a customised routine.

The Banana Bright range that's available exclusively at Sephora online, is inspired by banana powder, a yellow-tinted powder used by makeup artists to brighten dull skin.

The two stellar ingredients you need to know that are working hard for your skin are Vitamin C and collagen. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps lighten dull skin, boost radiance and promotes collagen production. Collagen helps to improve skin's elasticity and delivers hydration.

There is a hint of orange and lemon extracts, so if you suffer from fragrance irritation, we suggest you start with a spot test on your jawline first.

Tried and tested

I tried the Banana Bright Vitamin C serum, S$96 for about three weeks and this is what I thought. Using just a dollop of serum (20 cent coin size), I was able to cover my whole face extensively. I don't like my face feeling heavy, so this serum did a great job of absorbing well. I love citrus scents, so the fragrance doesn't bother me at all but I know it can to some.

I use the serum twice a day, in the morning and night after my usual cleansing routine.

After four weeks I didn't see any major significant difference in my skin, although I did notice less fine laugh lines around my lips. I do like how my skin felt: softer to touch.

It is pricier than some of the serums I've tested in the market, so if you're price-conscious, this may throw you off your buying game.
