Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for girl, 10, missing from Oldham home
Police say they are “increasingly concerned” for the safety of a 10-year-old girl who has gone missing from her home in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
The girl, who has only been named as Remi, was last seen wearing a yellow jumper, black bubble coat, black boots and a grey rucksack.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) believe she is in the Higginshaw or Derker areas of Oldham and are appealing for information that can help locate her.
A post on the GMP Facebook page read: “Can you help police find a missing Remi from Oldham?
"Remi is believed to be in the Higginshaw/Derker area of Oldham.
"She is described as 10-years-old, mixed-race, 4ft 3, slim build, dark brown afro, scraped back hair in a bun.
"She was last seen wearing a yellow jumper, black bubble coat, black boots and a grey rucksack.
"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Remi and want to make sure she is safe and well.”
Police have not revealed when Remi was last seen.
Anyone with information about Remi’s whereabouts are urged to contact police on 101.
