Oklahoma Girl Celebrates End of Chemo With Bell Ringing, Biker Escort

A four-year-old girl celebrated the completion of her chemotherapy treatment by ringing a bell. after which she was serenaded by nurses. She was then escorted home by a group of bikers as she left an Oklahoma City children’s hospital on June 4.

OU Health provided this footage of Shyanna Jones ringing the bell at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. The footage also shows bikers with Riders United 4 Children — a nonprofit that aims to help children and families in need — escorting the Jones family home.

Jones was diagnosed with the rare disease hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in 2020, according to a Facebook page dedicated to her health struggles.
