Ok Taecyeon joins Takuya Kimura in "La Grande Maison Paris"

20 Jun - Ok Taecyeon is set to star in the upcoming Japanese film, "La Grande Maison Paris" alongside Takuya Kimura.

The news was revealed by the 2PM member's agency 51K, saying that Taecyeon plays the role of a dessert chef. A photo was also shared online of him in his character's chef uniform as he leans against the kitchen door, calmly watching his team work.

The movie sequel of the hit 2019 series "Le Grande Maison Tokyo" will be filmed in France, and will have Takuya Kimura reprising his role as Japanese chef Natsuki Obana.

The story will take Obana to Paris as he opens a new restaurant with a goal of winning three Michelin stars and achieving a breakthrough for an Asian chef. While there, he encounters a Korean-Canadian chef Rick Yuan (Ok Taecyeon) who will become his biggest obstacle in reaching his goal.

Speaking about his collaboration with the team, Taecyeon stated, "Being able to work with Kimura and an international team, shooting across Japan and France, is a valuable experience. I am excited and honoured for this."
