A lip reader may have cracked the code after Barack Obama and George W. Bush were seen conversing at President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

A deaf TikToker named Jackie, who frequently posts clips of celebrities and lip reads their conversation, seemingly provided insight into what the pair thinks of Trump.

The TikToker posted video showing Obama making a brief comment to Bush, who is standing next to wife, Laura.

But then, speaking to Bush, Obama allegedly told the former Republican president: “How can we stop what’s happening?” The pair both laughed.

Although Bush has remained mum after refusing to criticize other presidents, Obama has offered stark criticism of Trump, calling him a threat to democracy. Trump has had his own choice words for the former Democrat president, even telling Obama that he would’ve been a one-term president if he had ran in 2012.

Obama attended Monday’s inauguration, though former first lady Michelle stayed behind.

Bush and Obama seemed to be in a joking mood at the swearing in ceremony after he told a Bush staffer that he was not going to behave. Obama, Bill Clinton and Bush all skipped out on Trump’s inaugural lunch after the swearing in.
