NZ PM says she will work with whomever is U.S. president

Speaking to media in Auckland, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said "that means letting every vote being counted and letting people have their say and for a democracy to be heard. That's obviously still underway in the United States so I won't give comment until that democracy has been seen through and people get the result."

Ardern added that she felt New Zealand had done a good job in maintaining its relationship with the United States.

The vote counting continues in the United States with the winner still unknown.
