'Not Good': Barge Spotted Drifting Near Vancouver After Wild Wind Storm

A large barge was filmed drifting in Vancouver’s English Bay after a rain and wind storm lashed the British Columbia area on November 15.

Walker Adair filmed a video that shows a red barge floating on the ocean as waves carry it forward.

“This barge is going to hit that boat in English Bay. This is not good at all” Adair says as the barge approaches a boat in the middle of the ocean.

The barge later hit Vancouver’s seawall on Monday, according to Global News.

The City of Vancouver closed Burrard Bridge on Monday night “due to the potential risk of the grounded barge at Sunset Beach coming loose and colliding with the bridge." The bridge was reopened early on Tuesday. Credit: Walker Adair via Storyful
