Northern New South Wales Left Flooded After Heavy Rainfall

Parts of New South Wales in Australia flooded on Thursday, December 17, after severe storms rolled through the states’ northeast.

This footage uploaded to Facebook shows some of the main streets of Lismore inundated with floodwaters.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a flood warning for the Wilsons River after water levels peaked at 6 metres on Wednesday night.
