Northern Maine Hit by Late April Snow
Snow and wind covered the ground and sent ripples through the Stars and Stripes outside the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Caribou, Maine, on April 29.
Footage posted to the NWS Caribou Twitter account shows a light dusting of snow outside the NWS office and enough wind to ripple the flag on the station’s flagpole.
The NWS warned of “spotty light snow and rain” on Friday. Local news forecast up to ten inches of snow in parts of northern Maine by Friday evening. Credit: NWS Caribou via Storyful
