A glimmering green and pink aurora lit up the night sky over New York state on Sunday, February 26.
This footage showing the northern lights was captured from a plane window by Michael Abramyan.
Abramyan told Storyful it was filmed 37,000 feet over New York state, during a flight from San Francisco to New York City.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Geophysical Institute said highly active auroral displays were visible from New York on this date. Credit: Michael Abramyan via Storyful
