Nor'easter Brings Picturesque Early Morning Snow to Greenwich Village

A nor’easter arrived to New York City, blanketing Greenwich Village with snow in the early hours of February 1, with the National Weather Service expecting the conditions to continue throughout the day.

Max Guliani, a West Village resident, recorded this video and originally posted it to Instagram. The footage shows heavy snow falling on the quiet neighborhood.

Guliani told Storyful he has not seen this type of snowfall since the record-breaking 2016 blizzard, which left nearly 28 inches of snow on the city, according to local news reports.

The National Weather Service reported this storm could bring up to 24 inches of snow across the region.
