Nora Danish mums on reason for divorce with Nedim Nazri
20 Jun - Although they are now officially divorced, Nora Danish is adamant about not sharing any information as to why she and Nedim Nazri have called it quits on their marriage.
The actress, who was seen with her now ex-husband at the Federal Territory Sharia Court in Jalan Duta on the night of 19 June, dismissed the notion of financial issues being the reason for their separation.
"I hope everybody will respect our decision and not make up theories about it. This is because I truly care about the harmony between both families," she said.
Nora said that they have tried to save their seven-year marriage, even living separately for the last six months, but that it was to no avail.
Nonetheless, the actress said that the two will remain as good friends, and that she is still close to her stepson, Nedrin.
"We just want to raise our children with love and positivity. I hope everybody will wish us well," she added.
Nora and Nedim tied the knot in March 2017. The two have a son named Mohamed Neqayl, born the year after. Meanwhile, the actress is also mother to son Putra Rayqal from previous marriage with Datuk Rizal Ashram Ramli, while Nedim is the father of 12-year-old Mohamed Nedrin with ex-wife Nabilah Khan.
