Sugiyama Yoshikuni, currently representative director and operating officer of Nippon TV will now serve as president and senior executive operating officer.
Sugiyama will report into vice chair and senior executive operating officer Kosugi Yoshinobu and chair and CEO Okubo Yoshio . He replaces Kosugi Yoshinobu who will be taking the new position of vice chairman and senior executive operating officer of Nippon TV.

Sawa Keiichi, currently operating officer responsible for Nippon TV’s global business development, which includes international business development, has been promoted to board director and operating officer for that division, reporting into Sugiyama. Sawa will be responsible for business development and real estate.
All the positions became effective June 29.

The Turkish version of Nippon’s “Woman -My Life for My Children” have gone on to air in almost 50 territories around the world, a first for a format from Japan.
Nippon TV fully owns over 90% of its content IP, in addition to established businesses that span VOD/live-streaming engineering, animation/film production, fitness clubs, eSports, and android creation/digital mixed reality technology.
In 2014, Nippon TV acquired streamer Hulu’s Japanese arm.
