Night Sky Flashes as Snowfall Covers Ground Near Huntsville

The night sky flashed near Huntsville, Alabama, as snowfall covered the ground late on January 2 as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter storm warning.

The NWS warned of hazardous driving conditions and the chance of power outages, with snow totals forecast to measure over four inches in some places.
