Fans sprinted after a van carrying US rapper Nicki Minaj at a planned meet-and-greet that had to be abandoned in London on July 11.

Footage by @6uaine shows fans running after a black van. Minaj can be seen through the tinted windows.

Police said on Twitter that the meet-and-greet at Koko in Camden on Monday evening was canceled following concerns about “significant crowding” and a dispersal order was put in place.

The rapper had pleaded with her fans for order ahead of the cancellation of the event, saying on Twitter: “Guys, if you don’t get in a contained space they won’t let me get out the cars. Pls don’t run in the streets. Please get in 1 place. 1 line.” Credit: @6uaine via Storyful
