Nick Jonas Abruptly Exits Stage After Laser Pointed at Him During Jonas Brothers Concert in Prague

At a recent concert at the O2 Arena in Prague, Jonas appears to call for a "time out" after a prohibited laser was pointed at him

Nick Jonas appeared to quickly leave the stage after a safety concern arose during a recent concert.

During the Jonas Brothers' stop at the O2 Arena in Prague on Tuesday, Oct. 15, an audience member's unauthorized laser pointer aimed at Nick caused the show to stop for several minutes. A video posted to social media shows him abruptly leaving the stage and calling for a "time out" with his hands.

“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers' performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person,” an O2 spokesperson confirms to Entertainment Weekly. “The organizing service responded to this fact immediately. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance and went back on the stage."

The Brothers tour continues Wednesday night in Krakow, Poland.

In 2023, Nick stopped in the middle of performing "Jealous" during a tour stop in Boston, Massachusetts to check-in on a member of the audience who appeared to be distressed. Security and medical staff came to assist the audience member as the 32-year-old watched.

The second-youngest Jonas also fell in a hole the night before the incident with the distressed fan. While singing "Sail Away," Nick stumbled into a trap door. He remained unscathed and mouthed "ouch" as he got out.

At another recent tour stop in Paris, Joe Jonas can be heard changing the lyrics to "Cake by the Ocean" from his side project DNCE. The original lyric, "Walk for me, baby / I'll be Diddy, you'll be Naomi" was changed to "Walk for me, baby / I'll be watching you be Naomi."

The change comes after music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs faces mounting sexual assault allegations. His trial date has been set for May 5, 2025.
