While we'll wait to see if we get that neutral-site AFC championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, the seeds in the AFC were set at the conclusion of the early games on Sunday.
And with that, BetMGM could set some point spreads for wild-card weekend.
Here are the opening lines for the three AFC games on the opening weekend of the playoffs:
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals (-5.5)
The Ravens will come right back to Cincinnati, and the key question will be if the Ravens will have quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens lost 27-16 without Jackson again on Sunday, which clinched the official AFC North title for the Bengals. There would be no coin flip to determine the venue of this game; the Bengals finished a game-and-a-half above the Ravens in the standings and will host. The line could change dramatically this week based on news with Jackson.
Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Chargers had the fifth seed locked in due to the Ravens' loss, though Chargers coach Brandon Staley played his starters anyway and receiver Mike Williams was carted to the locker room with a back injury.
The Jaguars stormed back to pass the Tennessee Titans for the AFC South title. It's a fun game featuring the playoff debuts for two excellent young quarterbacks, Justin Herbert of the Chargers and Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars. The point spread indicates there's not a lot of respect for the Jaguars quite yet.
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-10)
The Dolphins beat the Bills once this season and almost beat them a few weeks ago in Buffalo, but they had Tua Tagovailoa for both of those games.
Tagovailoa has a concussion and his status is uncertain. Teddy Bridgewater has a finger injury that kept him out of Week 18, and rookie seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson started at quarterback for the Dolphins. Miami won 11-6 to make the playoffs, but they face a huge challenge to start the postseason.
