AEON CREDIT SERVICE (M) BHD today announced its 23rd issuance of the Islamic Commercial Papers (Sukuk Murabahah) with a nominal amount of RM150 million with a tenure of 28 days was made today.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Aeon Credit said the proceed from the issuance will be utilised for Shariah-compliant working capital purposes.

POS MALAYSIA BHD has partnered Sunway PopBox, extending the national courier’s parcel delivery services across all Sunway PopBox locations.

In a statement today, Pos Malaysia said from Dec 1, its customers can deliver parcels to their recipient’s preferred PopBox locker address at no additional cost and once the parcel arrives at the PopBox locker, recipients will receive an SMS notification with a unique PIN code.

This new delivery option provides Pos Malaysia users in Klang Valley with the convenience to pick up their packages at one of the 100 PopBox lockers, which offers 24-hour access.

Pos Malaysia group chief executive officer Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor said the partnership with Sunway PopBox enhances its reach to new and existing Pos Malaysia customers, complementing Pos Laju EziBox services, which is currently available across 170 locations nationwide.

UEM SUNRISE BHD's wholly-owned subsidiary, UEM Sunrise (La Trobe Street) Pty Ltd is disposing its serviced apartment forming part of Aurora Melbourne Central together with 10 car parks and retail space area at 224-252 La Trobe Street to Scape Australia Management Pty Ltd for RM354.6 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, it said both parties have entered into a contract of sale today of the purpose.

It said the mutual termination of the sales contract between the UEMS La Trobe and Ascendas Australia Hotel Trust on Sept 13 gave an opportunity for the company to explore the offer by the purchaser and unlock the sales value of the property at a higher price.

The disposal also allows the group to monetise the completed Aurora Melbourne Central components allowing it to pursue further property development opportunities.
