THE ASSOCIATION OF ISLAMIC BANKING AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS MALAYSIA (AIBIM) has appointed Ratna Sha’erah Kamaludin as its executive director, effective Jan 1, 2020, after serving the institution as its acting executive director since April 2019.

Ratna Sha’erah, who joined AIBIM in March 2016, has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of project management, business reengineering, strategic planning, risk management, banking channels, and banking operations, AIBIM said in a statement today.

It said Ratna Sha’erah has played a key role in AIBIM’s strategic communication direction, and operational management.

She is instrumental in the success of the biennial Global Islamic Finance Forum held in 2016 and 2018 which offers unique networking opportunity for regulators, industry practitioners, business leaders and Shariah scholars in enhancing the true potential of Islamic finance in the international marketplace, it said.

With offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, Netsense Group offers a wide array of business solutions ranging from Acumatica Cloud ERP Software, Accounting Software, CRM, HR Solutions, Payroll, Project Management, Business Intelligence Tools, Customised Dashboards, Mobile Apps, and e-Commerce Solutions.

Censof is in OEM partnership with Acumatica Inc., a leading innovator in cloud ERP that enables technology partners like Censof to customize its applications to suit the needs of end-users, it said in a statement today.

RHB BANKING GROUP has offered an over-the-counter registration for DuitNow to customers at its branches nationwide.

DuitNow is an online banking service which allows individual customers to send and receive funds between banks using their mobile or NRIC numbers without the need for bank account numbers.

“By assisting our customers to activate DuitNow at our branches nationwide, we are making it easier for them to undertake their banking transactions, and this further encourages financial inclusion within communities in which we operate in,” RHB group head of retail banking Rakesh Kaul said in a statement today.
