Netflix is giving the BBC Three curio Sexy Beasts the remake treatment.
Originally a reality dating show that aired for one series back in 2014 (and also adapted for A&E in the US), the format is designed to showcase personality over looks.
It sees single pringles disguised in elaborate prosthetics to meet and get to know each other.
If they're deemed compatible, only then will the masks be stripped away – think of it as The Masked Singer, only with less vocal range and a focus on lip-locking, or a similar premise to Netflix's existing runaway dating hit Love Is Blind.
Deadline reports that the new project will consist of 12 episodes, and it's also believed that production took place between September and November of last year.
Around 50 romance-hungry participants from both the UK and US were involved.
Elsewhere in the dating show universe, fans have been glued to ITV2's latest love search, The Cabins, with yesterday's (January 12) instalment featuring the emergence of a new Rylan Clark-Neal.
Fans tweeting throughout the episode shared their opinions of newcomer Corben, who sported a thick black beard below a sizeable mop of hair which made him look a whole lot like the former The X Factor contestant and the former Big Brother star.
