Netflix Malaysia: Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin is safe and sound!
20 Jun – Netflix Malaysia recently assured that all is well with actor Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin, following its recent post on Instagram Story that had many expressing concern over the actor's safety.
The streaming platform previously took to social media to share a notice that read, "Urgent!! Have you Seen Iedil? We haven't heard from him since the Netflix event in Manila earlier. We're wondering what happened to him since we have tried to reach out personally but no answer."
While many immediately caught on the gimmick, seeing that Iedil's model-actress wife Prisia Nasution had posted a photo of her having dinner with the actor at a restaurant not long before, there were others who truly believed that the actor had gone missing.
In response to this, Netflix Malaysia released a statement saying what many already knew - that it was nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
The platform stated that it was nothing more than a promotion, and assured that Iedil is safe and sound. They also added that more details about the campaign will be released soon.
Iedil was most recently seen attending the "Extraction 2" APAC Gala Premiere in Manila with his wife, and was even on stage with director Sam Hargrave and actor Chris Hemsworth alongside fellow actor Aaron Aziz.
