Netflix confirms 'Bridgerton' will return for third and fourth series
Bridgerton will have a third and fourth series, Netflix has confirmed.
The racy period drama's first season launched on the streaming platform in December and a second instalment was announced earlier this year.
On Tuesday, a message from Netflix's UK & Ireland Twitter account declared: "BREAKING NEWS FROM THE TON. Bridgerton is returning for seasons three *AND* four!"

It was recently announced that season one's heartthrob lead Regé-Jean Page, who plays the Duke of Hastings, won't return for the second series of the Netflix hit.
While Daphne Bridgerton's (Phoebe Dynevor) romance with Page's character was the central plot of the first run, the second season will focus on her brother Lord Anthony Bridgerton, who is played by Jonathan Bailey.
The news was made public in the style of the mysterious narrator Lady Whistledown’s gossipy Society Paper, posted to the show's Instagram.

It read: "While all eyes turn to Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Rege-Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings. We’ll miss Simon’s presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family.

Starring opposite Bailey in the next season is Sex Education actor Simone Ashley, who will play female lead Kate Sharma.
